There's talent and then there's talent!  I was watching an interview with Akiane Kramarik and was astounded at this young girls talent, eloquence and devotion to her art.  Akiane is 12 years old and has had solo shows all across the country.  Her work sells for hundreds of thousands of dollars and to think it all started when she bean drawing at age four.  She worked her way into painting at the age of six and by the age of nine was having solo shows across the country.

She feels that she channels a divine voice in her work and the message from her work is "through my art I'll help kids around the world".  Her paintings are filled with hope.  She's totally self-taught which is a miracle in and of itself.  What's the method to her extraordinary talent?  She believes that when she's painting she enters an altered state as if she were lucid dreaming.  She's in the dream with the ability to have control over the outcome. 

It's a pity that we live in a suspicious culture because her work has been challenged by many who don't believe she does the paintings.  It wasn't until some came and watched her paint that they had to eat their own words.  Obviously Akiane is a prodigy.  Her talent is a gift and she uses that gift to its fullest.  Do you use your talent/gift to its fullest?  What are you doing today to honor the gift you've been given?
