Getting There Can Be Filled with Art
I had the pleasure of going to Chicago for the Thanksgiving Holiday. The flight was at 6am so with all the security cautions I had to arrive at the airport at 4am. On my way to terminal A, walking across instead of taking the tram, there was a photography exhibit. The exhibit was put on by the Center for Fine Art Photography (CFAP) in Fort Collins.
CFAP is a national organizations and they have been creating an ambassador program hoping to engage more artists from across the country. The photographs spanned the range of photographic styles. On my way there I was on the moving walkway and didn't get to see the works up close but since I knew they were there I made sure to take a closer look on my way back.
This is one more example of where you can find art in unexpected places. It's a tribute to Denver International Airport for incorporating art into the lives and travel experiences of all who travel to the Mile Hi city.
