Multi-Talented, Multi-Tasking, Multi-Successes

Is it possible for one person to embody creativity, sensibility, determination, perseverance and have a good business sense?  It is possible if your name is Anna Montgomery.  Anna has a show "Repose" at The Other Side Arts (TOSA) that has so many things going for it that I'll probably miss some of the key points, but I want to share with you what I found most engaging about the show in addition to the art work.

Okay, you want me to start with the art work so I will.  There is lots to see and Anna's work varies in size, dimension and format.  A couple of piece I really hope you get to see are: "I Have no Talent for Certainty", "Restoration of the Intrinsic", "She Demands My Devotion", and "Reinvention of the Secret Garden".  The show is one of the most cohesive shows I've seen in the Denver area in the past year.  There is an ongoing story but not in a melodramatic way, but a sensible and sensitive way.

Beyond the art work I believe Anna understands the artist's path to success.  She creates work in a variety of sizes thus a variety of prices.  Not everyone can afford the $2000 masterpiece but would love original art work.  One of the great things about beginning your collector base in this fashion is that as you grow as an artist these collectors will grow with you and over time will be able to afford larger or more expensive pieces (size doesn't always matter).

The other key point that will propel Anna to Artist Success is that as an individual artist she is willing to do what usually only big galleries will do, allow you to buy the art with a payment plan.  She even included approximate monthly payments on the price sheet making the art not something so out of the reach of people but giving them the opportunity to have a level of comfort in their purchase.

It was a joy to be able to share this opening with Anna and keep your eye on her because she's a force to be reckoned with!

So Proud...
Greg
